As some foundation universities may also have preferences regarding sports disciplines, in order to prevent any disadvantage to national athlete students, they must conduct a preliminary interview with the relevant foundation university before finalizing their preference list for the foundation universities they plan to enroll in based on their YKS score. Following the preliminary meeting, if the meeting is positive, the foundation university will reserve a quota for the national athlete student by providing a letter stating that the student is included in the 15 national athlete quotas allocated by the Higher Education Council and that their registration will be accepted. If the student is placed based on their YKS score, the registration process will be completed.
